Brad Chandler
Brad Chandler is a fourth-generation beef producer from Georgia who bought his first cattle at the age of 16. While purchasing feeders and operating a small backgrounding and stocker operation in high school, he knew his passion was beef cattle. After high school, Brad attended Abraham Baldwin Agricultural College and the University of Georgia where he earned a B.S. in Animal Science. While at UGA, he focused in beef production and discovered a great passion for improving cattle through the use of improved genetics and EPD’s, and the significance these tools would play in the future of the beef industry. This passion would eventually lead to his involvement in the development of an all-natural Angus premium branded program focusing on high quality feeder cattle that fed and processed in Georgia. The results of this program proved what he had known about the cattle in the southeastern United States- these cattle will feed and grade as well as anywhere in the U.S. These results are what fuels his passion today, to prove the quality of southeastern cattle to the rest of the industry and finally reap the value the producers in the Southeast can earn. This is the foundation of SE Cattle Consulting, LLC today.
